| details | Thème de la séance : La connaissance juridique : représentation linguistique vs représentation logique |
|---|
| summary | There is a long tradition in the logical representation of legal knowledge. However, this representation is often limited just to the basic notions of permission and obligation. I shall argue that it is necessary to provide a deeper and broader logical representation of legal concepts, in order to capture the basic notions of legal thinking and legal cognition. This objective requires the integration of legal theory, logic, artificial intelligence and linguistics. |
