summaryTo better understand the link between cell proliferation and shape, we use morphological and mutational analysis, which is an extension of differential equations governing the evolution of sets. We find a dynamical mechanism for encoding the very first steps of morphological dynamic of multicellular organism, This formalization is needed to understand the mechanisms underlying the stabilzation of a shape while the cells are constantly renewed and the controls established by the nature to maintain this shape. We have implemented this morphological dynamic in a virtual laboratory (cell multiplication, cell migration and apoptosis) and finding an encodage that use a sequence of directions. In a first step we voluntarily limit to discrete simulation by controlling the order of division and order of executions. The study is still in its infancy but it is fundamental for understanding the mechanisms controlling morphogenesis.
