summaryThe first part of the seminar briefly illustrates the methodological advances related to inverse problem solutions for cortical source reconstruction, coherence and Granger causality methods for functional connectivity estimates, and graph theoretical indexes for brain network analyses. The second part of the seminar gives an overview of selected studies where the above mentioned methods have been applied. Particular attention is devoted to applications related to motor and cognitive tasks, brain diseases, brain-computer interfaces, and hyper-brain connectivity.
