| summary | Reading is a highly dynamic cognitive process, spread within widely distributed brain regions. It is also unique to humans, and cannot benefit from the insights of animal electrophysiology. In this talk, I will show how intracranial EEG recordings, as performed clinically in some epileptic patients, can provide a unique window into the reading brain, regarding its functional organization. |
