| summary | ARGUMENT:
Elargissant son intérêt pour les implications des sciences cognitives pour les questions psychopathologiques, le CESC propose d'entamer une réflexion critique sur le problème controversé des rapports de ces dernières à la psychanalyse à travers l'organisation d'un atelier de discussion consacré à l'idée de neuropsychanalyse telle qu'elle s'est dégagée au tournant des années 2000.
L'atelier commencera par deux exposés puis sera suivi d'une discussion générale animée par deux discutants.
Il sera conduit en français et en anglais.

Understanding the dreaming brain: a neuropsychoanalytic perspective.
Neuropsychoanalysis is the attempt to integrate psychoanalytic theory and practice with the investigation of the neural basis of human behavior, cognition and affect. We will discuss the ability of this new and growing field to improve the neuroscientific understanding of the dreaming brain through a reexamination of the Freudian hypothesis that “the dream is a fulfilment of a wish”.
