| summary | Neurodegenerative diseases involve two fundamental processes: the deposition of misfolded proteins and the progressive loss of synapses, which eventually lead to neuronal loss. This talk will discuss our recent work addressing the underlying mechanisms of each of these processes and how they can be modified for neuroprotection, providing new targets for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. |
