summaryMonitoring brain activity during sensorimotor tasks is of great value when investigating the neural source of movement and the mechanisms underlying brain plasticity during training. Here, we present some protocols in healthy subjects, that investigate the changes of cortical activation pattern (using combining fNIRS-EEG method) induced by neuromuscular electrical stimulation and transcranial direct current stimulation during execution of hand movements.
