| summary | Recent developments in artificial intelligence suggest a new perspective on the interactions between prefrontal cortex and dopamine-driven reinforcement learning, based on the notion of 'meta-learning.' I will introduce the computational idea, and describe a set of simulations in which we applied it to a diverse set of findings from the neuroscience literatures. |
