summaryIn this seminar I will present some studies in which we used psychophysics as a tool to question cognitive models. A first part will focus on the investigation of auditory processes in dyslexic and control participants. I will describe several still unpublished experiments that questioned explanatory hypotheses of developmental dyslexia. The second part will focus on psychophysical techniques that allowed us to explore the involvement of specific sub-cortical pathways in visual attention. I will describe a few studies already conducted and propose some future developments.
