| summary | Eating food is a necessary event for every animal species. But the role of nutrients is much more complicated than to be just a source of energy or an element of the body architecture. One of our research interests is to understand how amino acids could influence nervous system physiology and behaviors. This seminar will bring a summary of our work on a specific family of amino acid transporters in Drosophila melanogaster. |
