| summary | Early voice recordings around 1900 required dedicated equipment as well as an adaptation of singers to these devices. The combination of voice features with transfer function parameters of horn, tonearm, soundbox and needle cause modifications of the voice signal. In this talk some of these interactions are discussed. |
