summaryThe relationships between handedness and brain asymmetry have been speculated on since the 1800s. In actual fact, we don't know a lot more now about the business than we did then, to be frank.  I'll discuss the main puzzle (easy), why we still haven't sorted it (pretty easy) and what we should do about (maybe easy, but it’s going take some time) . Sadly this endeavour has required an old neuropsychologist like me to turn to the dark side (neuroimaging).
