summaryIn this workshop, we would like to discuss the modeling of large-scale activity in the macaque brain, in particular using population models. In a first part, we will discuss the mesoscale (millimeters), were phenomena like propagating waves were recorded in high resolution and modeled at the level of an entire brain area in visual cortex. In a second part, we would like to discuss this approach to model large-scale brain-wide phenomena, using tools such as The Virtual Brain and EBRAINS. Alain Destexhe - Introduction of the workshop Frédéric Chabane - To be announced. Alain Destexhe / Matteo Di Volo - Mesoscale model of macaque V1 Viktor Jirsa - Presentation of TheVirtualBrain et EBRAINS Alain Destexhe / Jennifer Goldman - Presentation of TheVirtualBrain results in human Kelly Shen - An optimized macaque connectome for large-scale simulations in TheVirtualBrain General discussion
