summary“My research focus has been on face perception for several years, from the study of visual cognitive processes to that of social and affective processes, with a specialisation in electrophysiological (EEG-MEG) methods. I operated a research theme move recently, turning toward the subcortical-cortical networks of motor and inhibitory control and the development of studies in the domain of brain-computer interfaces and neurofeedback. In this talk, I will give an overview of this journey in the domain of human cognitive electrophysiology, with the aim of sharing my first results in the domain of EEG-based neurofeedback and some of the puzzles that they raise about the links between brain and cognition/behavior.
