summaryBoolean dynamical models of biological signaling and transcriptional networks have been used these last years to model tumor cells and predict therapeutic targets in Cancer. Major limitations to a more generalised application of these types of models include: 1. the step of models’ reconstruction that is currently done by manual curation of biological knowledge from the litterature by experts in molecular biology, which makes it a long process, dependent on the choices of the modeler and difficult to reproduce. 2. The development of performing algorithmic methods allowing the reprogramming of the dynamical behavior of Boolean dynamical systems. In the course of this seminar, I will address the reconstruction of Boolean biological models from omics data, methods of reprogramming of dynamical behavior of dynamical systems and the application of such approaches to the discovery of new therapeutic targets in cancer. In a second part of the talk, I will introduce concepts from neurosciences and present recently published results on the integrative properties of cerebellar neurons.
