| summary | Recently there has been a rising interest in the application of logical and semantical methods in such areas of cognitive psychology as reasoning, language acquisition, and discourse processing. The aim of this course is to discuss some of these developments, with focus on the interaction between semantical and cognitive aspects of quantification. I would like to illustrate how cognitive psychology can benefit from results obtained in the area of semantics/pragmatics, and vice versa. |
